Lionel Messi Wins Best Player Of The Year Award In Dubai. (See Photos)

Lionel Messi won the Best Player of the Year award at the
Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai last night and he's the
overwhelming favourite to scoop the Ballon d'or 2015 best
player of the year award in January.

The Argentina and Barcelona forward, scored 58 goals as
Barcelona enjoyed a memorable treble-winning campaign
last season winning the Copa del rey, Champions league and
La liga title.

'It's very nice to receive these awards, but I always say
that the team makes it possible,' said Messi. 'It's been an
extraordinary year.'

Other players like Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo were also
honoured at the awards Ceremony in Dubai.
